Both parts of Arvada
If you know which county the house is in, tell us. If you do not, give us the address. We serve families in the Jefferson County part and the Adams County part.
Our Aurora office does not provide the care. It handles the schedule and the paperwork. The caregiver lives and works near the client.
What we help with
- Cooking meals and leaving food ready for later.
- Light housekeeping and laundry.
- Companionship, such as talking, a card game, or sitting together.
- Bathing, grooming, and dressing. Other daily tasks are sometimes called ADLs.
- Watching for loose rugs, poor lighting, and other simple safety problems, then telling the family.
How care works
1. We meet with you at home.
Our care coordinator visits you and your family. We talk about your daily routine, what is hard now, and how you like things done.
2. We write your plan of care.
If you have Medicaid, your case manager decides which services you are approved for, and we follow that plan. If you pay privately or use long-term care insurance, we build the plan with you. Together with you and your family, we decide the order and the way each task is done.
3. Personal care and help at home, together.
We usually combine personal care, like bathing and dressing, with help around the house, like meals and laundry. This makes your day easier and helps you stay independent at home.
4. We train your caregiver.
Your care coordinator shows your caregiver how to follow your plan, step by step and in the right order.
5. Your plan stays the same until you want a change.
Your caregiver follows the same plan at every visit. If your needs change, just call us and we will update your plan together.
